Hi, my name is Orlando Portella Filho, I am 32 years old, married, no kids until May 2014.
I grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, where I lived all my life, except for an opportunity to stay for 6 months in England working as a volunteer at St. Elizabeth‘s Center, an institution that assists children and adults with epilepsy. Furthermore, I lived in Mexico for 5 months and shorter periods in Venezuela and the U.S.A..
I studied business administration at INSPER and majored in Business Strategy at Business School São Paulo (BSP). Since university, I have been working for FMCG companies in Brazil and other Latin American countries, accumulating 10 years of experience in Sales Development and Sales Execution.
Where has 2013 gone? It seems to have flown by but perhaps that is due to Krombacher’s association with all things fast for example in the form of British Superbikes.
In the UK market, Krombacher has had ties with British Superbikes for sometime but 2013 saw a step change in sup- port that looks set to grow in 2014 and beyond.
Just a quick recap on the sport, so that you’re in the know – British Superbikes is televised live on satellite channel Eurosport as well as being shown on ITV4 attracting over 7.6million viewers. Each meeting has an average attendance of over 30,000 people. The season runs from April to October and takes in some legendary courses such as Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Assen in the Netherlands.
